TEST PRINCIPLE
In the procedure of this test, If the sample contains CRP, it attaches to the colloidal gold conjugate pad labeled with anti-CRP1 antibody. This mixture moves chromatographically along the test strip and interacts with the coated anti-CRP2 antibody, the line will appear in the test line region (T1/T2/T3) indicating a positive result. The number of lines depends on the concentration of CRP in the sample. The more CRP is contained in the sample, the more red lines become visible. A colored line should always appear in the control (C) line area. It serves as a procedural control, confirming that sufficient sample volume was used and indicating an adequate membrane wicking and proper procedural technique.
MAIN COMPONENTS
Sample pad, colloidal gold conjugate pad, nitrocellulose membrane, absorbent paper, PVC board, Colloidal gold conjugate pad labeled with anti-CRP1 antibody, nitrocellulose membrane coated with anti-CRP2 antibody, control line coated with goat anti-mouse IgG antibody. Sample diluent: phosphate containing buffer. The sample diluent tube containing 1mL the sample diluent. Disposable plastic straws (optional). Disposable quantitative straws(10μL or 5μL Selecting according to customer needs). Description: Different components of different batches cannot be used at the same time to avoid erroneous results.
STORAGE AND EXPIRY
Store in a dry environment at 4-30°C, avoid hot and sunshine, valid for 36 months. DO NOT FREEZE. Some protective measures should be taken in hot summer and cold winter to avoid high temperature or freeze-thaw.
SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS
1. The reagent can be used for the serum, plasma and whole blood samples.
2. Serum, plasma or whole blood samples must be collected in a clean and dry container. EDTA, sodium citrate, heparin can be used as the anticoagulants. Recommend to detect immediately after collecting blood. If blood coagulation occurs, serum sample is suggested to use.
3. Serum and plasma samples may be stored at 2-8°C for 1 week prior to assay, and at -20°C for 2 years. Frozen and refrigerated samples should be equilibrated to room temperature before detection and thoroughly mixed. Repeat freeze and thaw for no more than 3 times. Samples that exhibiting visible precipitates, stink or muddy should not be used.
4. Whole blood sample with anticoagulants may be stored at 2-8°C for 24 hours. It should be used immediately without anticoagulants. DO NOT FREEZE. Mix the sample well by gentle inversion of the tube immediately before testing.
TEST PROCEDURE
Instruction for use must be read entirely before taking the test. Allow the reagent to equilibrate to room temperature for 30 minutes (10-30°C) prior to testing. Do not open the inner packaging until ready, it must be used in one hour if opened (Humidity≤60%, Temp: 10-30°C). Please use immediately when the humidity exceed to 60%.
Sample processing
1. Open the sample diluent tube. 2. Use the disposable quantitative straw gently touch whole blood or serum or plasma sample, no squeezing, use the siphon effect to naturally absorb 10μL of whole blood or 5μL of serum or plasma. 3. Then place the disposable quantitative straw into the diluent tube, squeeze the disposable quantitative straw, and squeeze the serum ,plasma or whole blood sample into the diluent tube . 4. Close the diluent tube and shake the sample by hand forcefully for approximately 10 seconds make the sample and diluent mix completely. 5. Rest the sample for approximately 1 minute after diluted. 6. The diluted sample can be used immediately or within 8 hours of storage.
Test method
Strip 1. Take off the outer packing, dip the arrowhead end of the reagent into the diluted sample. The liquid level should not exceed the MAX marking line, after the liquid has crawled to the top of adhesive tape, take it out and lay it flat. 2. Or use a disposable plastic straw to take 3 drops (80-100μL) from the diluted sample and add to the sample pad of strip vertically. 3. Observe the test result immediately within 5 minutes, the result is invalid over 8 minutes.
Cassette 1. Take off the outer packing, put it onto the desk with the sample adding area up. 2. Use a disposable plastic straw to take 3 drops (80-100μL) from the diluted sample and add to the sample adding area vertically. 3. Observe the test result immediately within 5 minutes, the result is invalid over 8 minutes. Note: The diagram is for reference only. See the real object for details. The appearance and color of reagent components may be different from the actual product, which has no effect on normal use.
